Payment Terms

These Payment Terms explain the payment methods currently accepted by Sohocz, payment authorization procedures, pricing, payment security, installment payments, refunds, and other payment-related conditions that apply when purchasing from our website.

By placing an order and completing payment through Sohocz, you agree to these Payment Terms and our Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service.

Sohocz currently accepts the following eligible credit and payment cards:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • Elo

  • JCB

  • UnionPay

We also currently offer the following accelerated or alternative payment methods:

  • Shop Pay

  • Google Pay

  • Shop Pay Installments for eligible customers when displayed during checkout

Only payment methods actually displayed during checkout are available for the applicable transaction.

The availability of a payment method may vary depending on:

  • Device.

  • Browser.

  • Order value.

  • Payment currency.

  • Payment account status.

  • Issuing bank.

  • Eligibility and security requirements.

Sohocz does not guarantee that every payment method will be available to every customer or for every order.

Payment Currency

Product prices and order totals are currently displayed and charged in:

United States Dollars (USD)

The final currency and total amount payable will be displayed during checkout before payment is authorized.

If your card or payment account uses another currency, your bank or payment provider may convert the transaction and charge additional fees, including:

  • Currency conversion fees.

  • Foreign transaction fees.

  • International processing fees.

  • Other bank or payment-provider charges.

These charges are determined by your bank or payment provider and are not charged or controlled by Sohocz.

Credit and Payment Card Payments

When paying by credit or payment card, customers may be required to provide:

  • Name on the card.

  • Card number.

  • Expiration date.

  • Security code.

  • Billing address.

  • Postal or ZIP code.

  • Additional verification information when required.

Card transactions are subject to authorization by the issuing bank and applicable payment processor.

The appearance of a payment-card logo during checkout does not guarantee that every card issued under that brand will be accepted for every transaction.

A transaction may be declined because of:

  • Incorrect payment information.

  • Insufficient funds.

  • Insufficient available credit.

  • An expired card.

  • A restricted or blocked card.

  • Transaction limits.

  • Billing-address mismatch.

  • Security screening.

  • Issuing-bank restrictions.

  • Other payment-provider decisions.

Sohocz will never request your complete card number, card security code, or payment-account password through email, text message, telephone, or social media.

Shop Pay

Eligible customers may use Shop Pay to complete checkout using contact, shipping, billing, and payment information saved to their Shop Pay account.

When using Shop Pay, customers may be required to verify their identity or account through a security procedure provided by Shop Pay.

Verification may include:

  • One-time verification codes.

  • Account authentication.

  • Device verification.

  • Other security methods made available by Shop Pay.

Shop Pay availability is subject to Shopify's applicable eligibility requirements, account conditions, security procedures, and terms.

Shop Pay Installments

Eligible customers may be offered the option to pay in full or pay over time through Shop Pay Installments.

Shop Pay Installments is only available when the option is actually displayed during checkout.

Eligibility, available payment plans, payment amounts, repayment schedules, applicable interest or financing terms, and other conditions are determined by the applicable installment provider.

Sohocz does not determine:

  • Whether a customer qualifies for installment payments.

  • The approved financing amount.

  • The number of available installments.

  • Applicable interest or financing charges.

  • Payment due dates.

  • Credit or identity-verification decisions.

  • Financing-account management.

Customers must review the applicable installment terms displayed during checkout before confirming the transaction.

Selecting Shop Pay Installments does not change Sohocz policies regarding:

  • Product prices.

  • Order processing times.

  • Shipping timeframes.

  • Return eligibility.

  • Return deadlines.

  • Product-condition requirements.

Questions regarding installment eligibility, repayment schedules, or financing accounts should be directed to the applicable installment provider.

PayPal

Customers may use PayPal when it is displayed as an available payment option during checkout.

When PayPal is selected, customers may be required to sign in to their PayPal account, select an available funding source, review the transaction, and authorize payment.

Funding sources available through PayPal may include:

  • PayPal balance.

  • Linked bank accounts.

  • Eligible credit or debit cards.

  • Other payment methods offered directly by PayPal.

Available funding methods, account eligibility, security verification, and transaction approval are determined by PayPal.

Sohocz does not control PayPal's account restrictions, transaction decisions, security reviews, or technical availability.

Google Pay

Eligible customers may use Google Pay when it is displayed during checkout.

Google Pay allows eligible customers to use payment and contact information stored in their Google account or wallet to complete checkout.

Google Pay availability may depend on:

  • Device compatibility.

  • Browser compatibility.

  • Customer location.

  • Google account status.

  • Payment method linked to Google Pay.

  • Payment-provider requirements.

Additional authentication may be required before a Google Pay transaction is approved.

The payment will ultimately be processed using the eligible payment method associated with the customer's Google Pay account.

Accelerated Checkout

Sohocz may display accelerated checkout buttons, including:

  • Shop Pay.

  • PayPal.

  • Google Pay.

Accelerated checkout allows eligible customers to proceed through checkout using information stored with the selected payment provider.

The payment methods displayed to an individual customer may vary according to the customer's device, browser, location, account status, and provider eligibility.

Guest Checkout

Customers are not required to create a Sohocz customer account to complete the standard checkout process.

Customers may complete an order by entering the required:

  • Email address.

  • Shipping information.

  • Billing information.

  • Payment information.

When an accelerated payment method such as Shop Pay, PayPal, or Google Pay is selected, the applicable third-party provider may require the customer to sign in to or verify an account with that provider.

Order Total

Before payment is completed, the checkout page will display the applicable:

  • Product subtotal.

  • Promotional discounts.

  • Shipping charges.

  • Applicable taxes.

  • Final order total.

  • Payment currency.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the order information before completing payment.

Please check:

  • Products.

  • Sizes.

  • Colors.

  • Quantities.

  • Shipping address.

  • Billing information.

  • Shipping method.

  • Discounts.

  • Final order total.

By selecting the payment button or otherwise authorizing a transaction, the customer authorizes Sohocz and the applicable payment provider to process the amount displayed during checkout.

Sohocz will not increase the confirmed order total without obtaining additional authorization from the customer.

Shipping Charges

Applicable shipping charges are calculated and displayed during checkout.

Shipping costs may depend on:

  • Delivery destination.

  • Number of products.

  • Order value.

  • Parcel weight.

  • Parcel dimensions.

  • Selected shipping method.

  • Applicable shipping promotion.

Customers will be able to review applicable shipping charges before payment is submitted.

For additional information, please review our Shipping Policy.

Taxes

Applicable sales taxes or other taxes collected by Sohocz will be calculated and displayed during checkout where required.

The final order total displayed before payment will include taxes collected by Sohocz for that transaction.

Additional charges imposed directly by a government authority, customs authority, carrier, bank, or payment provider may not be included unless specifically displayed during checkout.

Promotional Codes

Promotional codes must be entered and successfully applied during checkout before payment is completed.

Unless the applicable promotion states otherwise:

  • Promotional codes cannot be applied after an order has been submitted.

  • Promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Codes may be limited to one per order.

  • Certain products may be excluded.

  • Minimum purchase requirements may apply.

  • Expiration dates may apply.

  • Some promotional codes may not be combined with other offers.

The final order total displayed during checkout will show whether an applicable promotional code has been successfully applied.

Payment Authorization

Submitting an order authorizes the selected payment provider to verify and process the transaction.

Payment may be subject to:

  • Issuing-bank authorization.

  • Billing-address verification.

  • Card security-code verification.

  • Account authentication.

  • Identity verification.

  • Fraud screening.

  • Security review.

  • Payment-provider approval.

An order will not normally enter fulfillment until payment has been successfully authorized and any required review has been completed.

A payment authorization or pending transaction displayed by your bank does not necessarily mean the order has been finally accepted or shipped.

Order Acceptance

Receiving an order confirmation means Sohocz has received your order request.

It does not necessarily guarantee final acceptance of the order or availability of every product.

Sohocz may cancel or decline an order where:

  • Payment cannot be authorized.

  • Payment remains incomplete.

  • Required verification cannot be completed.

  • Inventory is unavailable.

  • An obvious pricing or technical error has occurred.

  • There is reasonable evidence of fraud.

  • Payment appears unauthorized.

  • Required customer information is inaccurate.

  • The order cannot reasonably be fulfilled.

If payment has already been captured for an order that Sohocz cancels, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

Pending Transactions

Some payments may temporarily appear as pending while the issuing bank or payment provider completes authorization.

A pending payment may prevent the order from entering processing until authorization has been completed.

Customers should contact their issuing bank or payment provider if a transaction remains pending for an unusually long period.

Sohocz cannot manually approve a transaction that remains pending within a third-party payment system.

Authorization Holds

A failed, canceled, or incomplete payment attempt may appear temporarily as a pending authorization or authorization hold.

An authorization hold does not necessarily mean that the customer has been permanently charged.

Banks and payment providers may temporarily reserve the transaction amount while completing verification.

If the transaction does not complete, the authorization hold is generally released according to the financial institution's own processing schedule.

Sohocz cannot control or accelerate the release of an authorization hold imposed by a bank or payment provider.

Declined or Failed Payments

A payment may fail or be declined for reasons including:

  • Incorrect card details.

  • Incorrect security code.

  • Incorrect expiration date.

  • Billing-address mismatch.

  • Insufficient funds.

  • Insufficient credit.

  • Expired card.

  • Restricted payment method.

  • Transaction limits.

  • Failed authentication.

  • Bank security restrictions.

  • Payment-provider restrictions.

  • Network or technical problems.

If payment is unsuccessful, the order may not be created or processed.

Customers should verify their payment information, select another available payment method, or contact the issuing bank or payment provider.

Banks and payment providers may not disclose the complete reason for a decline to Sohocz.

Duplicate Charges

If two similar transactions appear on your payment account, please first confirm whether one transaction is only a pending authorization rather than a completed charge.

If you believe that Sohocz has processed a duplicate completed payment, please contact us and provide:

  • Your full name.

  • Order number.

  • Transaction date.

  • Transaction amount.

  • Payment method used.

  • A screenshot with sensitive payment information concealed.

Do not send complete card numbers, card security codes, payment passwords, or other sensitive credentials through email.

Billing Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing information.

Billing information may include:

  • Full name.

  • Billing address.

  • City.

  • State or region.

  • Postal or ZIP code.

  • Country.

  • Email address.

  • Telephone number where required.

Incorrect or incomplete billing information may cause:

  • Payment failure.

  • Additional verification.

  • Order-processing delays.

  • Order cancellation.

Where applicable, the billing address should match the information held by the issuing bank or payment provider.

Payment Security

Sohocz uses Shopify's secure checkout environment and authorized payment service providers to process payments.

Payment information is transmitted through the applicable secure payment system.

Sohocz does not directly store complete card numbers, card security codes, or third-party payment-account passwords on its own servers.

Transactions may be protected using security measures such as:

  • Encrypted data transmission.

  • Payment-provider authentication.

  • Fraud-detection systems.

  • Address verification.

  • Card security-code checks.

  • Customer authentication.

Although reasonable security measures are used, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Customers are responsible for protecting their devices, payment accounts, passwords, and verification codes from unauthorized access.

Fraud Prevention

Sohocz and its payment providers may review orders to help identify fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.

We may request reasonable additional information to verify:

  • Customer identity.

  • Payment authorization.

  • Billing information.

  • Shipping information.

  • Contact information.

  • Other relevant order details.

An order may be delayed or canceled if required verification cannot be completed.

Sohocz may cancel and refund an order where there is reasonable evidence of:

  • Fraud.

  • Unauthorized payment.

  • Payment-account misuse.

  • False information.

  • Promotion abuse.

  • Other suspicious activity.

Nothing in this section limits legitimate customer rights under applicable law.

Pricing Errors

Sohocz makes reasonable efforts to ensure that product prices, promotional discounts, shipping charges, taxes, and checkout totals are accurate.

However, typographical, technical, or system errors may occasionally occur.

If an obvious pricing or checkout error affects an order, Sohocz may:

  • Correct the error before fulfillment.

  • Contact the customer for confirmation.

  • Cancel the affected product.

  • Cancel the order.

  • Refund any amount already collected.

Sohocz will not charge a higher corrected amount without obtaining customer authorization.

Order Confirmation

After an order is successfully submitted, we will normally send an order confirmation email to the address provided during checkout.

The confirmation may include:

  • Order number.

  • Products ordered.

  • Quantities.

  • Amount paid.

  • Shipping address.

  • Billing information.

  • Selected shipping method.

Please review your order confirmation promptly and contact us if any information appears incorrect.

An order confirmation does not mean that the order has already shipped.

Order Changes and Cancellations

If you need to modify or cancel an order, please contact Sohocz as soon as possible.

Because orders may enter processing shortly after payment, we cannot guarantee that every modification or cancellation request can be completed.

An order generally cannot be changed or canceled after it has been processed, packed, or shipped.

If an order has already shipped, the customer must wait for delivery and follow the Sohocz Return and Refund Policy.

Refunds

Refunds are processed according to the Sohocz Return and Refund Policy.

Approved refunds are normally issued to the original payment method used for the transaction.

This may include:

  • Original credit or payment card.

  • Shop Pay.

  • PayPal.

  • Payment method associated with Google Pay.

  • Shop Pay Installments account, when applicable.

Eligible returns must first satisfy the conditions described in our Return and Refund Policy.

Refund Processing Time

After an eligible return has been received, inspected, and approved, Sohocz normally processes the refund within:

5 business days

After Sohocz submits the refund, the bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time before the funds appear in the customer's account.

The additional posting timeframe is determined by the applicable financial institution or payment provider and is outside Sohocz's control.

Shop Pay Installments Refunds

If an order was paid through Shop Pay Installments, an approved refund will be submitted through the applicable payment system.

Depending on the financing account and payment status, a refund may:

  • Reduce the remaining installment balance.

  • Apply against amounts already paid.

  • Be returned according to the installment provider's procedures.

Sohocz does not control how an installment provider applies the refund or when the adjustment appears in the customer's financing account.

Customers should continue making scheduled payments unless the applicable installment provider advises otherwise.

Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you have a question or concern regarding an order or payment, we encourage you to contact Sohocz before submitting a payment dispute or chargeback so that we can review the issue.

Submitting a chargeback does not automatically cancel an order or establish eligibility for a refund.

When a payment dispute is submitted, Sohocz may provide relevant transaction information to the bank or payment provider, including:

  • Order confirmation.

  • Payment records.

  • Shipping information.

  • Tracking records.

  • Delivery confirmation.

  • Customer communications.

  • Applicable store policies.

Nothing in this section restricts any lawful payment-dispute rights available to customers.

Third-Party Payment Providers

Shop Pay, Shop Pay Installments, PayPal, Google Pay, issuing banks, card networks, and other payment processors are operated or supported by third parties.

Use of these services may also be subject to the provider's:

  • User agreements.

  • Privacy policies.

  • Payment terms.

  • Eligibility requirements.

  • Security procedures.

  • Refund procedures.

  • Dispute procedures.

Sohocz does not control third-party:

  • Account eligibility.

  • Technical availability.

  • Transaction approval.

  • Account restrictions.

  • Financing decisions.

  • Bank processing times.

Changes to Payment Methods

Sohocz may add, remove, suspend, or update available payment methods.

The payment options actually displayed during checkout at the time an order is placed represent the payment methods available for that transaction.

We may update these Payment Terms when our payment options, checkout procedures, or applicable requirements change.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Payment Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Where applicable law provides customers with greater protection than these Payment Terms, the applicable legal requirements will prevail.
